Quirky abstract Florals in soft pinks, peach and green, loosely emanate from a modern rust coloured vase, whilst shedding discarded leaves and petals. The arrangement sits boldly on a creamy marble-like surface against a backdrop of warm blue.
Utilising negative space painting where the layers of colours are applied to the canvas first, next, allowing the main subject to form organically by painting an outline and lastly by meticulously adding foreground colour around the outline.
All artwork is finished with a subtle layer of clear gloss finish to enhance the colours with the sides of the canvas blackened and shadowed in my signature vignette style.
Artwork is signed NE on the front and named, signed, and dated on the back.
